Last night, Stephen announced his intention to run for President in South Carolina. We here at FFC are thrilled! We hope this "favorite son" pays us a visit when he comes to Charleston in January. Perhaps our efforts could be rewarded with tickets to the show?

If you live in SC and consider yourself a Democrat, please visit www.colbert08.com and sign the petition. Colbert needs 3,000 SC Democrats to sign so he can be on the ballot. Note to Stephen or his people if you are reading this: FFC will gladly be an additional host the downloaded petition since it is illegal to have it on the show's website

eeeek, it's actually www.colbert.ORG everyone! looks like you have to mail it in?? there are blank spots on the petition to name a representative of the candidate. can that be me? is there a real person at the PO address that should be named?
Ok, so here's the link to the pdf from the site. YOU are the representative for the candidate (so the sentence that says, "all forms should be returned to them" means you.
